I miss the daily chats with my mother today. We would chat daily on the phone. We would laughed about a lot of things. It was a goal of ours to put off turning our heat on until late September. Well the seasonal drift has me turning on my fireplace to take the chill off over the last couple of years on this day in August. It is 62 degrees outside today.
As a child my mother and father canned and froze food for the Winter. Then in my younger years I canned and froze food for Winter.
Now I store Freeze Dried Food from Thrive Life for the Winter.
It signals fall is coming and Winter Preparations need to be in full swing!
