This last month I have just been in vacation mode. I spent it seemed days and days watering the garden in the terrible heat. I was down to saying I had planted too much. The last week has been great. I am only watering every couple of days. I have tomatoes ripe. There must be 20 tomatoes ripe if there is one. Squash, beans, cucumbers and lots of strawberries. The garden is really doing well.
Enjoy what is left of August!

Garden in July Pictures
I thought an update on the garden would be in order. It is a jungle out there!
Squash, Cucumbers, Beans, Pumpkins, flowers and Roses.
What has been fun is the different types of birds that now visit the garden. Goldfinch, Black Headed Chickadee, Wax Wing.
Bees have been working hard out there lately. This is pretty much the view I have out my family room slider. Plus I see the patio a little more.
Here is the patio looking towards the squash, etc.
You can see my cherry tomato plant on the left. I have let the veggies be part of the visable garden.
I have lettuce right at my family room slider door. Basil is on the bottom right.
Enjoy! Judy
